Kate Walsh says she’s “living the dream.” Not only has the former Grey’s Anatomy—and now Private Practice—star scored her own ABC spinoff, she’s also got married in a matter of months. “I’m literally living the dream,” the 39-year-old newlywed told PEOPLE of her whirlwind courtship and engagement. Walsh tied the knot to movie exec Alex Young over the Labor Day weekend in front of 100 guests, including her former Grey’s costars Katherine Heigl, Chandra Wilson and the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes. “I had an amazing time,” she said of her wedding. Also amazing? The amount of buzz surrounding her new show, which Rhimes describes as “lighter than Grey’s.” “It’s got all the drama without the surgery,” Rhimes told EW.
