Unfortunately it comes down to popularity and not dancing. It is too bad that Albert was sent home and not Wayne. I think they should change the scoring process and weigh the dancing skills higher than the popularity votes.

Wayne Newton should have been the one to go!!! Albert was very entertaining, I’m sorry to see him go. Popularity obviously plays too big of a role in the scoring.

Shocked? Stupefied! What a farce! I really enjoy this show, but felt something was definitely off with the voting. I enjoyed Albert and his dancing this week was not bad enough to take him out especially with Wayne Newton’s ridiculous attempt at dancing.

I think it is fixed! There is NO WAY he should have been voted off, I’m starting to wonder about these types of shows what is really going on. Just like the AI season when Chris Daughtry got voted off, I think they know who they want to win at the begining and just make it look good till the winner is made.

I don’t know whether it came down to popularity. It certainly didn’t come down to who showed the most promise of improvement or who was most entertaining to watch. I’m not sure who was more shocked by last night’s outcome: we the viewers who enjoyed Albert’s performances, the judges who ranked 3 other dancers below him and the 4 celebrities he tied with, or Albert himself. Albert’s departure is a loss to the show. I had looked forward to seeing him refine his dance skills. Perhaps Jimmy Kimmel’s skit on how the viewer votes were tabulated was not so far from the truth.

I am totally shocked! Why is Wayne still in the competition? Wayne really needs to go home! I am actually embarrassed for him when I watch him dance. I am sure he is a fine entertainer, but a dancer he is not!
As far as Albert going home, I do not agree. It does seem yet again that this is going to be somewhat of a popularity contest…I did not know who Albert was at the start of this competition, but I certainly did not think he was the one to go home this week. I want to see the BEST dancer win this competition, not the one with the biggest fan base.
Right now, I would say that Helio, Melanie and Sabrina are the ones to beat. I am glad they are doing well, but, hopefully the right person will go home next week and we won’t have do endure another week of Wayne.

He did not deserve to go home! I was stunned… it is really too bad that a dancing contest is not judged on dancing skills instead of popularity. Albert gave it his all and his fans recognized that. The audience also seemed shocked, so hopefully now people will get a wake up call and vote for those who deserve to go further. Hopefully people will now change their voting patterns after they have seen someone who deserved to stay – go home. Sorry Albert!

Im a big fan of the show and YES Albert was MUCH better than OLD DISGUSTING UNCOORDINATED MR. PLASTIC SURGERY LAS VEGAS Wayne Newton! He STUNK and should be GONE. Im SICK of people staying on that show LONG after they should be gone – seems it’s more of a popularity thing than an actual test of dancing!
