If a cripple were to audition - Cowell would no doubt kick him in the teeth for not walking properly. But then, since American Idol is more a beauty pageant and popularity contest than an actual talent competition, a physically challenged person - even a virtuoso genius - would never be allowed on stage. Cowell is not even a bad joke - just basically a p***k and little more. Did you forget about Ruben being one of the best ones? There is talent within the people that make it through you just may not see it or want to hear it. This show is also fan based just like anything else on TV right now, so it is not randy,paula or simon the choose it is the fans. The only thing I will comment on is personally NEVER like Blake, I think the fans could hve gone alot better with that, and oh yeah rember a guy named Chris Daugtry who was botted off... well look at where he is now!!!!!and maybe with out American Idol he wouldn't be where he is today!!! One guy in her group insulted the judge so she kicked off their whole group before 2 of them could even sing). Not to mention, most don't even audition in front of Simon, Paula, or Randy.
