The Hills: What Is the Deal with Brody and Lauren?!

Spencer finally called Brody—whom he’d blown off after Brody called him on his birthday— only to have Brody decide, apparently, that he wasn’t going to call Spencer back again. And everyone talks about how the girls on the show are catty!

But the real question left unanswered by last night’s episode of The Hills: Are Brody and Lauren dating or WHAT?! Brody was, in fact, just trying to make up with Spencer, and did call his old pal on his birthday. All of a sudden, now that he’s hanging out with Lauren again and admitted to her that he knows Spencer is the one who spread the rumor about an LC/Jason Wahler sex tape, Brody has decided not to be friends with Spencer? Is that because he wants to date Lauren again?

And what’s with Lauren? She told Whitney she missed Brody when they were in New York, and when the Brodster arrived at her apartment when she got back home, he noticed she had strewn candles all around. After telling her that he didn’t think he was going to call Spencer back—and assuring her that she wasn’t the reason—Brody and Lauren ended the episode snuggling on the couch and watching TV.

But tell us: What’s the real story with these two? Are Lauren and Brody destined for couplehood? Or are they simply united in their frustration with/dislike of Spencer right now? —Kimberly Potts

I have to admit that I did not like Brody during season 2. However, he has grown so much on me. They are soo cute together but I think they are taking it slow since last time they dated it was disaster.

I love the hills. I am in love with Brody Jenner. He should date LC. One of them is going to have to express their feelings. They are just gorgeous together.

I really think that Lauren and Brody make a cute couple. Brody is definetely hot. I mean if Lauren doesn’t want him i will take him!! But seriously i think they should get back together or at least try to work things out!

Yes, both hate spencer but thats not the reason they are spending time with each other. I think they genuinely like one another. They are too cute.

I believe they do like each other, but neither one of them wants to admit it. I mean Lauren was hurt in her last relationship and then when her and Brody tried to date it didn’t end up too well. I really hope something does happen between them because they are so cute.

Brody needs to get his Dad, Bruce Jenner away from that Kardshin crew. That show is a disgrace and makes Bruce look like a complete idiot. I would be embarrassed and ashamed if I was Kris Jenner. She has her 11 year old girls looking pretty professional on that stripper pole and making cocktails, and then takes a call from Joe Francis’ (from Girls Gone Wild) prison cell, who has made many, many millions of dollars on exploiting young women and evading taxes and who knows what other sick crimes. Then Joe wants her daughters to be the “spokes models” for his bathing suit line, and Kris thinks it is a wonderful, fabulous idea, but tells her daughters “just don’t tell Bruce because he is so conservative.” Those girls are out of control. Too bad their father (Robert Kardashin) passed away because there is no way in living hell he would let his children be raised and portrayed as their mother has. Get this show off the air and someone call CPS and get Bruce a good divorce attorney.

Bruce jenner is the father of the two younger girls. Lauren and Brody are seriously the cutest couple on television. I hope MTV gives us a reunion of the season finale since the show is scripted. The pic of them above is the cutest because she is looking up at him. I still love the hills despite all the revelations.

i think that they do both genuinely like each other. i, also, did not like brody at all last year but i think he has become a much better person this year. i really hope that they get together!!

Love Brody and Lauren. She is very pretty and he is handsome. They have undeniable chemistry and love to look at each other in special ways. They are soo affectionate with one another. I hope they become a couple at least on the show. I really do not care if it is fake or not… but I want to see a reunion between these two beautiful people.

Brody and Lauren are sooo cute together. I hated him at first but now i absolutely love him and Lauren together. They would be perfect. Now that they are friends they can actually date and get along and be perfect together.
