On a very sad day for contestant Marie Osmond— the patriarch of the Osmond family, 90-year-old dad George died Tuesday morning—host Tom Bergeron started off last night’s DWTS results show by declaring that Marie and her dance partner, Jonathan Roberts, were safe in the competition. Osmond was in Utah with her family, but she will be back for next week’s dance-off.
Who won’t be back next week: Jane Seymour and Tony Dovolani, who had the lowest judges scores/viewer vote total and had to ease down the road of defeat.
Not as much of a shocker as Sabrina Bryan’s ouster last week, but definitely more evidence that this is the most talented line-up of celeb dance talent in the show’s history. And that the finale, which is now just three short weeks away, is going to be a must-see.
