Good for them! It shows that the actors get the writers importance, why cant the ‘big whigs’ in the fancy offices get it? Without the writers, there would be no shows!!

I’m glad to see that the actors are showing their solidarity… If the writers don’t write, the actors can act. And the crew doesn’t need to be there. It’s as simple as that. If the deal the writers have is not good, they should protest.

But, if I think of my little person, I certainly wish that everything doesn’t have to change, that there would be a year’s worth of scripts written and that my shows wouldn’t go in repeat mode this early in the season.

I hope it won’t last as long as the last writers’ strike.

I’m glad to see the actors realizing that this is going to have a major effect on more people than just themselves. I wonder if any of them will do more than just join a picket line. Will they take up a collection to feed any of the families of the crew or the writers if this strike goes on for months? It doesn’t sound like what the writers are asking for is outlandish or over the top. They are just asking for their share of what the networks or the studios are getting. Is there anything wrong with that??

although it pains me dearly to see my favorite show no more.I AM SO VERY PROUD OF YOU’S ALL, it just makes me understand how you made Grey’s Anatomy so great, you all had a personal touch that made the show a part of my life forever

I understand to a point what the writers are doing. I mean, everyone wants a piece of the pie. However, do they not realize that shows may start going to outside sources? Or that they are putting other people out of work? It’s pretty self-absorbing in my opinion.

As a union member I think it’s great that the stars are supporting the writers & picketing right along with them. Shows solidarity in my opinion

The writers should get what they need and want. Without them, there wouldn’t be a show or movies.. celebrities aren’t smart on their own.. they play a character.
