And for all the negative comments, they have obviously never seen your show or watched all the joy you have given so many. Having been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy 2 years ago, I am going stronger than ever, taking up rock climbing and snd cross country skiing at age 57. So I know you will be back stronger and better than ever. And by the way, Bob, Wayne Newton's soul and spirit has always been right with Jesus and God so you don't need to worry about it! All of these are serious, but they are DIFFERENT conditions! There are several different types of cardiomyopathy, and I have the hypertrophic type, which is thickenening of the heart muscle. It can cause cardiac arrest & sudden death, and is often genetic in nature. I wish these publicists or spokepeople could get their info straight. It doesn't help to get the info out to spread light on this serious condition, when people cannot even get the story straight. Hopefully Wayne's infection will heal completely, and he can continue with his life.
