Montel,we wish you would reconsider retiring.I have two daughters 21 and 19,a son 24.We have really enjoyed watching your show through the years as a family.As parents we try to get through to our kids and to them we have no idea what were talking about and they take our advice as though it was poisin.But they would sit down watch your show and learn from it.They would see through your guest,how cruel the people in the world can be.They would laugh,cry and understand with your guest.Your show was lessons well learned.Our son is in a w/c,he has c.p.,he enjoys your show so much,that everytime issues come up with everyday problems from w/c to deadend help with what he really needs and so forth,he wants to contact you.Just when I finally got up enough nerve to write to you about all of the issues,you are retiring.I would also like to say how much we will miss watching Syliva Brown,I cant believe that people can be so ignorant and say shes a fake or the devil.PLEASE,theres nothing evil about her.I cant believe someone would not want to get in contact with a loved one that passed,if only to tell them how much they loved them.What is so evil about her being able to talk to the dead,we do it all the time,we are just not gifted enough to hear what they are trying to say to us. I can’t believe that Montel is leaving the talk show world. He has inspired so many people in so many ways. He has touched my heart more than anyone else could over the years. Montel is in my opinion the only talk show host left on daytime television that has moral standards. He doesn’t care about having disgruntled lovers with fights and drama to increase ratings like everyone else. He is the only host that cares about helping people the way he does. Daytime television will NEVER be the same with out him.
He was the last good quality talk show left in my opinion. He was a serious, caring, emotionally uplifting, and spiritual man who has touched so many lives. Montel, you will be sadly missed more than you can imagine. Good luck with all of your endeavors.
