Panhandler Refuses Charity: Happens Only in New York — and to New York

Tiffany Pollard’s fans are pretty savvy, it seems.

When the I Love New York star and her fiancé, George “Tailor Made” Weisgerber, were leaving City Crab on Park Avenue Tuesday night, a man standing outside the popular Manhattan eatery asked them for a dollar, says a source. “The guy started cracking jokes and made New York and Tailor Made laugh, so Tailor Made gave him $5.”

But the man refused the $5, saying he only wanted a dollar from them. “Why would you want a dollar rather than $5?” Weisgerber asked him.

The man’s reply? “If New York signs it for me, it will be worth much more than a dollar.”

New York laughed, signed a dollar bill and gave it to the man. “This could only happen to New York,” says the source. – K.C. Baker

I’m glad to see that New York and Tailor Made are still together. I like when the reality hookups go the distance. It lets the public know that they really do have their feelings invested into the whole process of finding someone they can share their life with.

I too am really happy that New York and Tailor Made are still together you can really see that she was in it for the Heart and not the Ratings

The story doesn’t say the man was homeless. It just says he was a random guy standing outside the restaraunt.
