The show is absolutely rigged. Simon Cowell & the producers have the final say-so. It is 100% about money potential...not talent. Asking the viewers to vote is a smoke screen. When you have Randy & Paula both saying "this singer is fantastic" and Simon then disagrees ... that singer is a goner. Noriega's rendition of Elvis's Jailhouse Rock was superb...and far better than a lot of Elvis's impersonators ... but still Simon said it was grotesque. I knew then that Noriega was a goner. They are ALL incredible singers LIVE. They truly are amazing, even my least favorite. Television doesn't do their voices justice at all! Give them a break, they are very good in person.
