I just thought they had a better repesentation of real issues that young people are going through. The cast was a lot more diverse in it's lifestyles and ethnicity. I also thought Sydney was a really good season because of all the love triangles and drama caused by the very different and sometimes clashing personalities. My favorite cast member would probably be Danny from New Olreans. I thought he was so cute(too bad he's gay). I think the best season was New Orleans. I think they have a pretty eclectic mix this time, but I do agree with others that we've seen this mix of people on previous seasons. I do miss the "realness" of the show (Julie-RW 1 naiveness, Puck's obnoxious nature, Pedro's battle with HIV, Gay issues with Norm, Genesis, Anessa, Chicago cast dealing with Sept. 11th, need I go on?). And I'm sorry, but the best season by far was RW 2 when they had more people come on that show than the others (if you remember, Irene got married & left, David got kicked out, Beth A. moved in, and that musician kid moved in too).
