• Alicia Silverstone is set to star in the title role of ABC’s sitcom pilot, Bad Mother’s Handbook. Sounds like Clueless child rearing to us!
• Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper launches his online series, 5 Minute Office Workout, on MSN Monday. Twenty-two three-minute episodes will show cubicle-bound office workers how to stay fit on the job. Bench pressing copy machines is not one of them.
• British transvestite comedian Eddie Izzard — who plays Wayne Malloy in FX’s The Riches — says that he may throw his hat into the European Union’s political arena. First order of business, showing Hillary Clinton how to really work a pantsuit.
• Deal or No Deal host Howie Mandel will return to his comic roots in the NBC comedy Howie Do It. The sitcom is about a suburban dad and his 26 briefcase-toting wives.
• In other Deal or No Deal news, President George W. Bush will appear on Monday’s show in a taped message for contestant Capt. Joseph Kobes, a U.S. Army transportation officer who served three tours of duty in Iraq. He’ll also check a couple briefcases for missing WMD.
