Simon Cowell’s First Kiss

Simon Cowell got a big surprise Wednesday during the call-in portion of American Idol’s results show, when a woman identified as Tara, 46, from Petaluma, Calif., asked the judge, “Which of these two performances is the most memorable for you, your kiss with Paula Abdul or your first kiss with me … when you were nine years old?”

“This is Tara Miller, right?” Simon asked.

Indeed, it was. Tara, whose last name is now McDonald-Smith, spoke with PEOPLE later that night and talked about the kiss.

“He’d taken me to the bottom of his garden,” said Tara. “It was very cute and it was very memorable. We were just kids. We didn’t know what we were doing!”

all the T.V. Brits (not politician’ or fundraisers 4 their self started origination) are brutally honest. IT HAS TO BE HARD TO GO ON CAMERA AND SAY THE TRUTH. VOTES are not reflective of the best talent that night anyway. If no one points out the flaws, heck, I wouldn’t even notice. When u R so busy smiling and enjoying a song because of the entertainer, u do not miss that they actually started over.These people need to learn it is a harsh business and Simon has a big heart and cares-if u paid attention.HE is just not Sweet Tongued; He seems to really mean well and cars about music! It was as Simon would say “brilliant”. In the final idol show we always see film footage of sorry contestants and then they are announced as present. I think this young lady saved the show and I would love to see what she looks like. It would be great if they surprise Simon with her presence in the final show audience. The whole conversation between the two of them was priceless!
