To bash on someone because they don't like his style of singing is getting old. David A is unique, and for those who say that only teeny boppers vote for him, well sorry to cut it to you but my whole family loves this kids singing and we all vote for him. Even people I work with which I guarantee are all adults vote for him. There is no need to bash on him personally if you don't like his music, critique the way he sings that's great! But to bash on the kid himself because you don't like him, that is hitting below the belt. I will admit, I will be buying this kids CD, because to me he sounds good. I like his style of singing. Let's all remember, AI to go in front of so many people is a hard thing for these people. We don't even know who they are and we are passing judgement on them because we want our favorites to win. If I had it my way these top 3 I hope none of them wins, it seems like AI ginx's any chances they have to be successful in the music industry. So we will see, only a few has come out of AI w/ grammys like Carrie Underwood and Kellie Clarkson but I can't remember any others. I do not need to bash your favorite to make my points. David A is not boring to those that have ears and appreciate a good voice. His voice is so distinctive, there is no one that sounds like him on the radio. He is highly marketable. His Cds could be Pop, R&B/Soul , Xmas and Spanish and would all sell. I will be first in line for his Cds and Concerts. I am a baby boomer not a teeny bopper. He will be the next musical sensation up there with Elvis, just wait and see. He stoppped licking his lips and doesn't close his eyes any more than the others. His age only solidifies that fact that he is a prodigy. His stage presence is fine, the screaming girls seem the like the flirting. You don't need to dance around when your voice is the entertainment. SBE and LMT were close to a capella, his voice is the performance, no need for loud music, lights, smoke or mirrors. Leave him alone and let him sing his heart out. If you open your mind and heart and listen when he sings, you just may feel the attraction that his adoring fans feel, he make us feel better, his music lifts our spirits because his singing is so amazing that we are addicted. He puts his own spins on every song just enough to make them current his way. If David A is not your cup of tea, fine, more power to you favorite. He already is our (Arch Angels) American Idol in many ways and a great role model for the young and old. Bashing David A will not make your favorite any better.
