The End of Edie on Desperate Housewives?

Was Sunday’s Mother’s Day-edition of Desperate Housewives the last time we’ll see Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) on the show (though EW.com reports otherwise)? With mama-themed holiday celebration all around (Susan going into labor, Mike’s obnoxious visiting mother), Edie wages a neighborhood war against Bree (Marcia Cross) over a kissing “incident” with Orson (Kyle McLachlan) -– and threatens to blackmail Bree over the identities of her son Benjamin’s true parents. The ladies of Wisteria Lane (Gabrielle, Lynette and Susan) get so upset that they gang together against the oft-scheming Edie and collectively end their friendship, once and for all. Edie is left standing alone in the cul de sac. –Nicholas White

It’s time for Edie to go. I don’t think that she’s a pivotal character and she’s not really involved in any key story lines anymore. With the addition of Kathryn, Edie’s time is up.

it’s time for the whole show to go away… or even better - bring in a new couple.. Heidi and Spencer from the HILLS… that would be so cool for us to be on the show. We’d bring life back to Wysteria Lane. Ya’ll know it’s true. AND they should bring in Heather Lockler - SHE’S WAY HOT.. Heidi and Heather could have a relationship - that Heidi hides from me, SPencer.. but I’m cool with dat… as long as I get to be apart of their relationship.. it’s all cool beans to me… YO!

It was unrealistic for them to keep being friends with edie- she got on everyones ex husbands, no girlfriends would ever stay friends after all that betrayal.

I want Edie to stay!!! I felt so bad for her when the girls ganged up on her. She’s not that bad and also I hate Kathryn she’s soooooo stupid. I don’t think she’ll be in the finale but she will back next year because her contracts not up yet.

I thinkk the show is getting juicy again. Edie does bring her amount of drama but she does need to go, but not before pulling another stunt. I mean she has to go out with a bang…lol!!!

the show needs to stay but edie needs to go. and no heidi and spencer can just stay away from everything…the hills is the stupidest show ever but heidi and spencer are stupid too…they just need to go somewhere

Edie adds a little spice to the show, but I think her time has gone. She is too evil and who would want her as a friend after all she has done. I’m not crazy about Katherine either. I think her time is limited.
