When a reporter stick a microphone in your face and ask you questions that might not come out the way you actually meant… then have it printed to make people want to read your article…and you cannot correct it. When you have gone through what Syesha must have growing up with a parent on drugs, you will know that this will have an humbling effect on anyone and make you more compassionate towards others. So those who just don’t get that because you have never “gone through”…zip it! Syesha was my choice over all the women because of her beautiful voice and obvious acting ability. One had to have a presence about them to stay poised and smiling through all the unmerited criticism from the judges, take it in stride and still keep improving week after week. However, since AI is about talent I knew from the beginning that David Cook would or should come out the winner and I am not a fan of Rock Music. David won me over because he pretty much showed that he could sing anything and sing it well. The night he sung Roberta Flach song “First Time I Saw Your Face” was when I became a David Cook fan. He gave me goose bumps! So then he and Syesha became my favs! Syesha, I will be listening for your first CD and looking for you on TV/Movies/Broadway!

i can’t believe she had the audacity to compare herself to christina aguilera. there is no comparison. she isn’t anywhere near as talented as alicia keys either. she needs to get off her high horse.

As I go back and read all of these comments, it’s a pure shame. It’s so bad until you can’t help but to laugh. People are hilarious. Great wishes to you Syesha. I think that you are all of the above. All you have to do is believe and do exactly what you’re doing. You’ve left a really good mark.
Everyone is so into celebrities.. which I love celebrities as Alicia Keys and Christina Auguillar. If you like the music that they sing and want yours to be similar than go right ahead. Always stand out and be Syesha. Believe me Alicia Keys had her moments when she first started out and so did Christina. What people fail to realize is that these two artist did not get to where they are over night. They’ve went through the motions where they’ve been judged and criticized for the things they’ve said and done. It’s sad but it’s true. Always know that there are no person to judge you, definitely not human beings. Remember the sky is the limit and you determine who you will be, not these people who are judging you. You’re beautiful inside and out and you will go farther than you even know. Keep believing and always put God first.
