Dina Lohan Doesn’t Want Lindsay on Her Reality Show

May 19, 2008

It seems what’s good for Ali Lohan is not necessarily good for big sis Lindsay—at least when it comes to the E! network reality-TV show Living Lohan, according to mom Dina Lohan.

“I told Lindsay I don’t want her on the show right now,” Lohan tells TV Guide. “Doing reality TV would almost be taking a step backward as far as her career.”

But for Lindsay’s 14-year-old sister, Ali, the show’s a step up from relative obscurity (à la MTV’s The Ashlee Simpson Show, which plucked another then-unknown sibling out of the shadow of her famous sister).

The eight-episode series, which premieres on Memorial Day, will document Dina and Ali’s temporary move from the family’s home in Merrick, New York, to Las Vegas, where little sis will record her new album.

“I just want to get the message across that we are a normal family,” says Dina, who insists she’s not a “crazy party mom” and she’s “never partied with Lindsay.”

In fact, Dina says she’s doing this reality show to clear the air: “I did this to defuse the rumors about my family. The media has just been so horrific to us over the past two years.” –Janet Murphy

Dina Lohan wouldn’t even have a reality show if it weren’t for her daughter, Lindsay. She’s a greedy stage mom who wants to make more money off of her other daughter.

Amanda May 19th, 2008

So, she’s already made money off of Lindsay and now it’s time to pimp Ali? Great mom.

Liz May 19th, 2008

Dina who???? Who are these people, does anyone know??

gzona May 19th, 2008

yeah, like this is really gonna change my mind about the Lohans - dream on!

Liz May 19th, 2008

Oh so she’s a madame but to her daughters?? What a classy act?? Are they going to nevada to work at The Bunny Ranch????

Yo, Dina– Heidi Fliess is in Las Vegas too– I’m sure she’ll help ya out– give ya her black book to ya, too!

Pimping out the next daughter? Who are the idiots that gave her the Mom of the Year award?

Jon May 19th, 2008

Lilywood— I believe the ‘Mom of The Year’ award was a spoof– like when Harvard gave Paris Hilton The Woman of The Year award……only problem is, no one gave Dina a heads up- that it was a JOKE!

MOMOF1 May 19th, 2008

i cannot believe that E has given this woman a show. what a joke. you would think that they would find something better to waster their money on. she is living off of both of her children and give me a break look at her daughter Ali–she is 14 years old and looks to be in her late 20’s. what kind of message is that sending kids? she needs to send her kids to school and hope that they can better themselves so that when there is no career in the movie industry atleast they can fall back on something. SHE IS A WASTE OF HUMAN LIFE.

Real Mom May 19th, 2008

The media is dead on for once - this woman should be stripped of her parental rights and the kids be put in foster care and they would be better off - Where is school for these kids? Where is their childhood? It’s in moms bank account!

Amanda May 19th, 2008

I don’t think anything else could hurt Lindsay’s career worse than what she herself has done. She sure does know how to make a movie flop. She ruins the reputation of hard working actors that actually have talent. That whole family is a big joke and everyone knows it.
