After singing three songs each on Tuesday’s final night of performances, American Idol fans cast their votes for either David Archuleta, the shy 17-year-old from Murray, Utah, with a soft but powerful voice, or David Cook, the 25-year-old rocker from Blue Springs, Mo., with bold song choices and artistic arrangements.
Host Ryan Seacrest says the race is tight between the two overnight heartthrobs, but which one will take the title? Vote!

If Cook doesnt win, I will personally never watch AI again because for some odd reason, the rockers can never win the title.. Daughtry proved them all wrong.. you would think the american public would learn from that.. Archuleta needs to make a Disney Channel CD or something like that…

David Archuleta is the better singer and deserves to win. He shined last night. David Cook is great, but did not perform his best. I believe that cook will win, but, he really should not based on last night….They are both great, but Archie is definately blessed with a gift.

I think it’s too close to call, but after last night’s performances, David Archuleta should win. David Cook has been the front runner throughout the entire competition, but last night he just did not deliver. No matter who wins, they are both outstanding performers and they will both do well in the music industry.

They both were excellent. Little David was AWESOME! Both will make it in the music industry. David Cook will be Rock and Roll and David Archuleta could possibly be another Josh Groban.
