AMERICA HAS GONE TOO FAR TO THINK THAT SHE OF ALL PEOPLE IS PLUS SIZE.
She looks very healthy the way she is right now.

Hi, I just watched this in the UK, and I think that if you assess the comments that were made to Whitney throughou the contest including the last episode then you would not have expected her to win. Anya was better throughout and it was a complete turnaround for Whitney to win, so I suspect that there was a angle and it was good publicity stunt to have a bigger girl win. I think Whitney is a stunning girl but I did not like her personality at first. I think that it is sad that we judge people by size and make assumptions about health, who is healthy and who is not – because you choose to be bigger does not mean you get to be mean about girls who choose not to be, and because you choose to be thin then you do not get to say cruel things about others. I think the world had bigger (no pun intended) issues to focus on than this and we should be doing the best to make the most of ourselves and be happy, and stay healthy whatever size we are. Life often plays strange cards and gives us illness and ailments we have no control over and makes us fat or thin without option. So a little more tolerance and a little less judgement of each other is better. I think there is room for models of all sizes to represent us all – my only caveat is that they should be healthy, unlike some of the comments on here from both sides of the fence which are incredibly unhealthy.

Why is everyone focusing on whether or not she is fat? How about whether or not she walked the runway well, whether or not she took good pictures, or whether or not she really is a good model? Throughout the whole series, she never amazed anyone with her work. I really feel like she won because after so many seasons, the show needed an interesting twist, so producers let her slip through each round.

I THINK TO BE CALLED PLUS SIZE YOU NEED TO BE AT LEAST A 16, CALLING SOMEONE HER SIZE PLUS IS LIKE TELLING ALL THE YOUNG PEOPLE THAT IF YOU GET ANY BIGGER THAN A 6-8 YOUR TO FAT, I THINK THAT IF YOU WANT A PLUS SIZED MODEL YOU NEED A 14-18 TO FIT THAT STANDARD.
