He is extremely talented, especially for such a young person. I knew it was going to be the two Davids up there. They are both going to go far. I love hearing David A's voice but I love how David C. is so honest and how he really cares for David A and looks after him. In our household we had a mixture of David A and David C. fans. My 10 year old grandson is kind of a "wanna be hip-hopster", lol; but to my surprise he LOVED David Archulets'a voice. David A is my idol. I had taped all the episodes of AI and listen to it every night. My grandson wanted to sing all of David A.'s songs on Idol and said that he would want to be on AI and sing just like David. My grandson did an awesome job. Of course I am bias because he is my grandson, but because of the other music he listens to, (hip-hop and rap, etc.), I was very surprised that he liked David A. that much. So David, if you read this, you have inspired a young boy with your voice. His favorite is "When you believe" because he likes the falsetto part of your voice. And to my surprise he did it very well. Is it a surprise that Archie got a record deal? No, but that doesn't take away from my happiness for him. He'll do amazing. He has a voice that touches millions. He is a little boy with a big voice, and I believe he'll be around for a long time. I think it's very sad that most David Cook fans cannot appreciate Archie's talent. The competition is over and the comparison between these two needs to end. Most of us aren't out fighting a War and away from our families. Most of us aren't laying in a field or a hospital somewhere dying alone. We are so blessed to be able to even watch American Idol week after week and vote,Even for the best singer! But yet we take all of this for granted and try to make it into a fighting situation between who should have won, or who is the best! I watched the show and enjoyed watching ALL the talent. I was proud of each and everyone of them. I have two son's and thought, WOW these are someone children. I know that the family is watching them and are very proud of them even more. We live in a country where are #1 concern seems to be entertainment! Aren't we the lucky ones? I read everyones comment on this web site, and It makes me wonder who is really winning this war? To David Cook, you do have talent and your Fan's young and old are so happy you win first place. Way to go.....David Archuleta, you too have a God given talent, and will sale lots of records!!!! To the rest of the group, keep singing and following your dreams, just think of all the people that did vote for you. To your families and friends you will always be their one and only AMERICAN IDOL!
