
• Fans of 24 start holding your collective breath: The show’s star Kiefer Sutherland says there will probably be a 24 movie…one day, some day, in the future. “I think we’re going to probably do the film when we stop doing the series, [but] I don’t know when it’s going to be,” says Sutherland.
• William Peterson, who plays Gil Grissom on CSI, will be leaving after this season’s tenth episode, though he hasn’t ruled out returning as a guest star. With Jorja Fox and Gary Dourdan exiting last season, it’s safe to say crime scene investigating has a high career turnover rate.
• So how big of a big shot is producer J.J. Abrams (of Alias and Lost fame)? His new FOX drama Fringe is reportedly get 50 minutes of air time, while most hour-long dramas are stuck with 44 minutes. Other Hollywood execs are now calling Abrams by his new nickname “Fifty.”
