Last season started off as a total stinker - my fellow Greys Groupies were all in agreement. It wasn't until later in the season that it really picked up and Izzie's role was not all that. I believe she would have gotten the nod based mainly on her popularity. She wants to be deserving of it... really what is the harm in that? Oh, and I saw both of her movies and I was pretty worried that I would see her as the "Knocked-up Izzie" or "Forever the Bridesmaid Izzie" but I have to say, she really pulled off each of those roles in that I was able to identify her for each character she portrayed.
