The Bachelorette’s Trista Gives The Bachelorette’s DeAnna Wedding Advice

July 19, 2008

Trista Sutter, the original Bachelorette who found a happy ending with husband Ryan Sutter, recently spent some time with the show’s latest bride-to-be, Deanna Pappas, and her fiancé, Jesse Csincsak.

“I really have hopes that they’ll make it to the alter like we did,” she recently told PEOPLE.

After hanging out with the newly engaged couple, Sutter says their connection was “completely palpable.”

“They were all over each other — in a good way,” she said of Pappas and Csincsak’s recent visit to the Sutters’ home in Vail, Colorado. The meeting was taped for a special episode of The Bachelor-Bachelorette series, but Pappas also took the opportunity to get advice from Sutter.

“My biggest piece of advice is to get away from the craziness and the hype,” Sutter said. “They waited so long to be together, but it’s really important to focus on yourself and not believe the hype of the show. Yes, the show introduced you, but take what the show gave you and try to make it your own.”

Pappas and Csincsak, who plan to marry May 9, 2009, were especially interested in Trista’s advice on their wedding — and whether it should be televised like Trista and Ryan’s December 2003 wedding, which was seen by more than 17 million TV viewers.

“You need to decide for yourself — and for your family — what’s right,” she said. “We didn’t scream, ‘We want to get married on television!’ But it was presented to us and I honestly don’t think that we would be living in Vail had we not taken the opportunity that we had. So, to each his own.”

With Csincsak living in Breckenridge, Colo., and the Sutters down the road in Vail, the meeting between the two couples is likely the first of many as Pappas plans her big day.

“I’ll be supportive of her if she needs my help in any way, whatever she decides,” said Trista, who’s enjoying raising son Max, who turns 1 July 29, while Ryan continues his career as a firefighter. “I’m 100 percent content with my life in Vail, as I know Ryan is, and I can’t see us living anywhere else.” – Scott Huver

Trista - please go away. has anyone read all the articles she writes, she speaks for Ryan constantly. She’s so bossy and possessive. Ryan should dump her as a way of telling her that she doesn’t own him or control him. I hate the way she talks, she’s so controlling over him, and was on the show too. She can’t think of anyone besides herself, this is supposed to be about someone else for once..trista….time to get over yourself. In case you haven’t realized - nobody else has the high opinion of yourself that you do which is why you were the first voted off every reality show you’ve ever been on. Ryan - dump her she’s an airhead and just loves to control you…that’s not “love” as she keeps passing it off as….it’s sad.

Please, who are you to judge on some ones relationship. It obviously works for them and look they are still together 5yrs later and with a baby. Thats longer than the minute marriages in Hollywood and I say good for them. Be happy and enjoy Vail.

i agree with sheila. trista even said on the first bachelor that she would do it for a million dollars, and then she just hoped everybody would forget about it and believe that she really wasn’t a money and attention grubbing ***** that people already knew she was. Here’s a hint trista …if you’re gonna lie (which you shouldn’t)…dont set yourself up to get caught. i have 3 children and am sick of getting the momlogic articles where she wont shut up about ignoring the kid because she wants to get laid. I am a size 2 so I dont need her tidbits on being slim. And my #1 priority after having my children was not to find ways to get rid of them so I could get laid, it was to take care care of them and appreciate them. Of course I worked out and got back into shape but the last several covers and interviews this annoying trista did - did not talk about motherhood it talked about nothing else but wanting to get laid and getting rid of the kid. It’s disgusting and she should quit momlogic because she’s a horrible role model to younger mothers whom I feel sorry for if they look up to her. Trista may actually have to get a job for once instead of milking networks to pay for her weddings, houses and now children. She also started a rumor herself about divorce just so she could write an article denying and make money off that. Please! Make room for the real celebrities, not the airhead women that think it’s cute to control a man with a baby voice and ignore their child, and land a man by giggling stupidly like some kid about how no man could please her. Real classy behavior there trista….i agree with them….get lost!

trista is so ugly - stay far away from magazines trista. go control ryan somewhere else, ryan leave her, she’s too clueless and controls your every move and word. if you can’t do that. at least stay hidden where the respectable moms and wives dont have to see you.

How very repulsive these women sound regarding Trista. She has a perfect right to offer Deanna advice. The show was called The Bachelorette, not The Bachelor. The show was about Trista. Not Ryan. She was smart enough to pick a terrific guy who apparently loves hers as much she loves him. I always thought she was delightful. Hope she & Ryan & Max are as happy as they look! So far they seem to be the ONLY couple from this show to really work.

nobody cares if she is married and nobody else from the show is, a lot of people are married……SO WHAT! i have been married for 15 years, I’m not a celebrity for it. What everybody is mad about is that most “celebrities” have to do SOMETHING to be considered a celebrity, Trista did nothing except mooch. Dont be naive, I agree with the ladies taht enough is enough of her “lovey” talk. She loves money, attention, and bragging about how she looks in a bathing suit so that people will picture her in some suit when really she needs to understand that that makes people gag. She openly admitted that she wants money and attention. I also am slim so I dont need to see some woman whine incessantly about wanting her body back. That was all she talked about on the last three Us covers, we were all like “enough, you have child - concentrate on that and not getting laid right away” I also have children and my #1 priority was always them, not constantly whining. People have just had enough of her so please PEOPLE magazine dont cover her, Us weekly was dumb and did it and we stopped reading that. Trista doesn’t love anything except herself and money. Don’t be naive and fooled. It couldn’t be more obvious how much she sponges and how spoiled she is. She was paid $1 million to get married, so umm….yeah spare your notes about “love”

Denise July 22nd, 2008

I know thank you! Trista is shrill and “shallow” was the common word used to describe her on the bachelor. I hope she reads these. I had a subscription to momlogic for years and cancelled it because she kept showing up everywhere with her stupid tidbits. Trista - leave and go away. You are no expert in parenting…You’re an expert maybe in getting things for nothing. I think that’s what ticks people off is that she has no modesty or humility…and that makes other people mad because they want something for the things they are actually doing but they have modesty. Now here is someone (trista) who is getting a lot for doing absolutely nothing. She could have at least shown maturity and been respectful of the other people on the shows she was on but she was always so rude. She was so rude to the bachelor for no other reason then that he wasn’t all over her like she thought everyone should be. Ridiculous. And then remember how she was the 1st one ever voted off the dancing series because she thought her partner on the show wanted her. My 10 year old daughter was even like “oh please come on”. Trista needs to stop being so egotistical and thinking that everyone wants her, but she’ll probably never stop because she never has..even after being kicked off every show imaginable. She can’t even do an article about Deanna like she was supposed to without bragging and talking too much about herself. She’s too shallow and stuck up and just breezy. DUMP HER RYAN - show all the people out th ere (men and women) that you are not so whipped and spineless and everyone thinks you are.

Jeanine July 22nd, 2008

Wow there are some bitter people on here!! Trista is a beautiful women and I can pretty much bet that anyone of you would marry onn TV for a million dollars. If she was so money hungry she would be in Hollywood trying to get more millions, but instead she took the money so she could start a family and be a stay at home mom, away from the drama that is Hollywood. Out of all the hook up reality shows she is the only one that has a lasting relationship. I think you people that are so against her need to grow up and stop being so bitter towards someone and something you know nothing about.

Rachel July 22nd, 2008

Say what you want about Trista’s personality, the reason she is giving advice and her opinion is because she was asked. This is an interview.
