The BB house was shaken Thursday night–and not only by the West Coast earthquake. The reigning HoH Keesha fulfilled her promise to turn the household upside down by putting up major threat Jessie and backstabbing Angie for eviction. The diabolical duo quickly shed their Team B.A. alliance and started campaigning for themselves. With her back against the wall, a newly hardened Angie showed her true colors, saying, “When you’re on the block, it’s every man for themselves.”
Jessie Muscles Out Angie: In a BB twist, the more subdued Angie got sent home over bodybuilder Jessie. Seemingly unable to shake her early alliance with Brian–and compounded by her betrayal of Keesha’s former ally Steven–Angie was voted out unanimously, 9-to-0 (watch her ouster).
Jerry, Please Relax: We’re not quite sure what’s gotten into Jerry these days, but in the past week he’s had a shouting match with Libra, gone toe-to-toe with Memphis and confronted Michelle in a kitchen well stocked with knives. Every time the short-shorts wearing Marine opened his mouth, it turned into a verbal shouting match.
Dan Takes the $20,000 Bait: This season sees the return of “America’s Player,” with the viewing audience voting on which houseguest will do their bidding. One week of following America’s wishes gives the selected houseguest $20,000. This season’s puppet? Of course it was Dan. The schoolteacher accepted the chance to turn against his fellow house guests, gushing, “I’m very blown away. Who am I to deny America?”
The House Guests Are Pushed to the Edge: Leave it to BB to follow a California earthquake with a HoH challenge that had the remaining contestants hanging from a shaking building. Host Julie Chen even went so far as to say, “When there are earthquakes, there are always aftershocks.” With current HoH Keesha watching from the safety of the outdoor couches, the remaining nine contestants strapped themselves in for what may prove to be a long and shaky ride. So which of the nine players will hold on as if half a million is at stake? –Reagan Alexander
