I have to say I am very disappointed they made Dylan the father. I am in fact a hugh Dylan/Brenda fan but someone made a clear point by asking why couldn't they make Kelly be involved with someone else or make the father someone else. It's clear she's so attached/obessed with Dylan. I always felt Dylan and Brenda were good for each other because she was always open with him. Brenda never beat around the bush with anybody. And even though she left during the 4th season and Dylan left a little after that he was still some how linked to Brenda. Even during this new version he was still linked to Brenda. As it was questioned in the latest episode where Kelly questioned Brenda about Dylan. Why did Dylan call Brenda and not Kelly. I am very intrigued to see what happens next. But the fact of the matter is Brenda and Dylan are somehow still involved in each other lives. Whenever Dylan and Brenda were off the show, the writers alway made them link together. Friends or lovers Brenda & Dylan were alway together.
