Mel B. Returns to Dancing–As a Show Correspondent

September 19, 2008

There will be another familiar face heading back to Dancing with the Stars: Melanie Brown. The Spice Girl, and former Dancing contestant, will return as a guest correspondent for Access Hollywood when the ABC reality show premieres Sept. 22.

“I’m ecstatic to continue working with my Access Hollywood family,” Brown said in a statement. “I am looking forward to the new season of Dancing with the Stars.”

Brown, who was a finalist in season five of the competition, will deliver reports from the set, interview the cast after the live shows on Monday and Tuesday nights and will document backstage moments.

Season seven of DWTS kicks off with a three-night premiere starting Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
