PS - I agree with others on Cloris.
I admire her guts, and she moves better at 82 (?) than I do. I admire her comedic talents. But, it is NOT helping the show. She is now horning in on camera time, and the "dirty dancing" she is doing is not even funny...
come on Cloris, take it up a level on the taste! Trashy isn't funny to everyone, and you are on a prime time family show!

Is it mean to say "poor baby"?
I deal with a lot of pain every day just because we can't afford medical care. There is something irritating to see reports on every celebrity boo-boo that happens. A deep bruise? Well, take care of it, and perhaps stay off of it. I'll trade problems with you - I tore my ACL in my knee two years ago. I now have a permanent limp and have to use a cane, because without insurance, I was refused treatment at our local hospital. So, forgive me if I don't feel too badly for your bruised foot! : /

Not that I have no sympathy - I do. It is just that each little thing gets so much publicity, and it is really hard to swallow sometimes, knowing I am only one of thousands and thousands of people who can't get medical help on really BIG things (bigger than bruises), and have to suck it up. No one cares.

Well, I'll get off the soapbox now, but just realize how blessed you really are, and the next time you need a public cause to support, how about medical care for the uninsured? It has changed my life completely, and not for the good. I sure miss performing myself, but no longer even leave our little apt now unless it is a big deal - it is just too hard to do.
All because of no insurance coverage and the inability to pay for treatment out of pocket.
