its disgusting how so many people seem think that violence against women is ok!! yes i think lynette did the right thing by confronting porters girlf about the baby but she should have never left her alone with her crazy husband even for a second! it was clear that he is disturbed and deranged and acts of violence like that are never called for.

Dave is after Mike because Mike and Susan killed his wife and child during the accident so he wants to get revenge and might try to kill Susan and Mike's son because he said "I want him to feel what I felt"

I think Dave is after Mike. The "I'm not done with you" line makes this clear.
Why? Not sure. But Dave must think Mike is responsible for killing his brother, in prison.

Regarding Lynette, it definitely seems like a parent has the responsibility to watch after the welfare of their children. So, if she wants to do what she can to interfere with her son's life, that's her prerogative.
Consentual sex between a 16 and 40 year old is not rape. Most states in the U.S. define the age of consent as somewhere between 14-16. So, calling the cops wouldn't result in any charges for statutory rape.
What should have happened is that the wife battering husband got arrested.

The theme of age in relationships was explored a lot in this episode... Are the writers trying to tell us that they don't think it's okay for a younger person to be with someone 10+ years older than them?

Yes, I believe Lynette was right to go directly to Anne about the baby. She was dealing with second-hand information filtered through two teenagers. Although Anne has clearly made unwise, emotionally-unstable choices here, she’s a grown woman and the first-hand source of the information. In speaking with the twins, Lynette has already learned that Porter is convinced he’s in love with Anne, convinced that she is pregnant with his child and convinced that they are going to run away together. Trying to get him to listen to her at this point is likely to be futile. Her best chance at finding out if this is the true state of affairs and altering Porter’s plans is to have a woman-to-woman talk with Anne.

(Besides, it gives us another scene between Felicity Huffman and Gail O’Grady and, wow, aren’t they great in this storyline!)

I’m still not convinced that Dave is after Mike. It just seems too obvious that’s what we’re supposed to think. We now know that Dave’s brother was in prison with the man Dave is pursuing, but Mike, Orson and Carlos have all spent time in prison and all three of their names were on the poster the doctor saw. Perhaps he’s actually after Orson or Carlos and is thinking Mike would be a good candidate to take the blame for the murder. Except…Mike would have a motive for Orson’s murder, but is there anything that would make him easy to frame for Carlos’ murder?
