Please, please, please end this storyline asap!! This is ridiculous! Touching a dead guy? Having sex with a dead guy? What is the point of this story? Someone please help me to understand it! I love this show, but they dropped the ball with this one!

I love Denny and cried like a baby when he died, but that being said the characters need to move on. It’s awesome to see him again, but it’s just making Izzy look crazy. The question then I pose is whether the rumors are true? Are they trying to make Izzy crazy so then they can get rid of Katherine because of her diva-like behaviors on the set?

As much as I loved the character of Denny and his relationship with Izzy and was saddened just like everyone else when his character died and was not able to watch his & Izzy’s relationship really take off, I think after 3 years this really should not be happening. I don’t think the writers & producers realized how much people would fall in love with Denny and had already wrote him off the show before he & Izzy became popular. I don’t understand how he can be “real” enough for Izzy to touch let alone have sex with!!! I think the fact that the show keeps him “alive” thru flashbacks and everything that is really all that needs to happen. Let Izzy finally move on from this heartache.

Ya know, I like Denny’s character but this story line is SO far fetched that it makes me not want to watch the show anymore. It was hard enough for me to stomach his death the first time around (my brother’s name was Denny and he died in 2003) but to have this touching of a spirit thing…wow.

What’s going on with the writer’s from Grey’s Anatomy? This is the worst story line they’ve come up with yet. Why in the world would we want to watch Izzie and her dead ex have sex? This is way too wierd even for the most fanatic of Grey’s fans. Denny’s character needs to get the axe now! I do get the feeling they are about to kill Izzie off and I really hope not. Grey’s Anatomy NEEDS Izzie Stevens!!!

I cried and cried when Denny died. It was one of the most touching and sad episodes I’ve seen in a long time. I do think the storyline with him coming back is VERY far fetched for Grey’s, considering you can’t truly touch the dead, but it’s good to see Izzy “happy” again and I LOVED Denny on all the episodes, so it’s good to see him back. I’m a hopeless romantic, so seeing that they can “touch” again and be intimate for the first time (since they never got the chance to) was heart wrenching. I’m very curious to see where Grey’s will go with this storyline — I’m sure it will end up with Izzy in counseling or a mental health treatment facility.

This plot twist is turning me off of the show, as are a few other recent developments. It’s become a soap opera, with all these crazy things happening. It used to be a good show with solid writers, interesting characters, and good actors but now it’s crossing over into this ridiculous farse of a show, bringing on ‘ghosts’ (Denny was never that interesting anyway), having the interns do absurd things like operate on each other (my fiancee is a doctor and he had to leave the room when he saw that, he thought it was so stupid)…How about explaining wtf happened to a major character on the show, Hahn, and why one day she walks to her car and never returns!? Are we seriously supposed to believe that this strong, feminist, take-no-sh*t doctor is going to up and leave because the chick she went on a few dates with and just recently started hooking up with tells her she isn’t really a lesbian? Come on now. Also, Izzy and Denny never even had a friggin’ relationship. He was in the hospital for a few months TOPS, he was her patient, and they barely kissed. I’m all for romantic notions but this is a little far fetched that years later she’s still THAT in love with him. If the writers are going to give her a brain tumor or send her to an insane assylum I just have to say: F**KING DO IT ALREADY!!! Jesus it’s been three episodes and if I have to hear her have the EXACT SAME conversation with Denny one more time: You’re dead, this isn’t real, i was over you…why are you haunting me? you left me! i killed you! why are you doing this??

This story line is just silly. I’ve heard that they’re doing the whole “I see dead people” to put Izzie’s mental clarity into question. Perhaps she’s getting a brain tumor and will be unable to continue being a doctor??? (Because Katherine wants to get out and do movies!) Think about it!!!

I cried my eyes out when Denny died, and I do miss him in the show, but this is really weird. Hopefully, it will be cleared up soon why this is happening to Izzy. Remember, Meredith used to see her dead mom, too. But this thing with Izzy and Denny is going too far. I would have liked to see the relationship with she and Alex develop. I think they could have focused more on Alex’ character and how the relationship between he and Izzy could change him.

I’m really disappointed by this story line. It’s totally random and doesn’t fit in with the overall show. I do like where things seem to be going with Christina and the new doc. He’s troubled, she’s impatient (usually) and it makes me want to see what’s next. Let’s hope the writers drop this silly Izzie/Denny line and focus more on the docs and this new “love” story.

I adored Denny when he was alive. I thought that they made a very sweet couple but after that, I thought Izzie’s character has gone down hill. I even loved when they brought him back in the episode that Meredith died and the second in the hospital when Izzie could feel him there. But, the whole having sex with him while he is a ghost is reaching a little too far. I have read rumors that it is a brain tumor and they are trying to get her off the show, but either way, they need to resolve it next week or I may stop watching.

This show has really gone downhill. Right around the time the first storyline with Denny came up, that’s when I think GA started to suck (in reality she would have lost her license immediately just for having a relationship with a patient and mostly have been prosecuted for causing his death by proxy), but this storyline makes me think GA will not be around much longer. It has certainly “jumped” the proverbial “shark”. Let this show die so we can move on to better prospects.

I used to like this show but the characters all seem so annoying now. The storylines remind me of 6th grade. And this whole ghost thing – I swear if they have another scene where the two of them spend 20 minutes going back and forth “You’re not real.” “Izzy, I’m real.”, I’m going to throw up. I’m a horrible writer and even I could think of better storylines than this.

The writers need to work on developing Alex’s character and him and Izzie’s relationship, which I think will turn out great. This is really hard to watch. It’s elation yet torture for Izzy. Denny is/was such a great character. Greys’ knows they killed him off way too soon. Their mistake. My husband already calls it a “chick show”, so I already have to defend it, but this storyline leave me NO defense! I even told him that if they kept this storyline up, I’d have to quit watching it. I just KNOW that the cast has to be disgusted with such a stupid storyline. It is no better than a typical daytime soap opera and I HATE those things! The credibility of the show is jeopardized by this whole thing with Denny coming back from the dead. Honestly, where can this stupid storyline go? Izzy ends up with serious psychotherapy? What else could possibly happen from it? Surely they aren’t actually considering making the concept of “the dead coming back” a real issue on the show.
I would hope that Grey’s Anatomy hasn’t run its course so soon, but with storylines like this, true fans will be dropping like flies!

I didn’t even watch this episode but it sounds stupid, seriously. I like the character of Denny and the relationship these two shared but it feels like the writers are just trying to keep this relationship going and it’s not realistic!!! In fact, this show isn’t realistic, in my opinion. ER is a way better medical drama whereas Grey’s Anatomy is becoming increasingly annoying and on the borderline of a daytime soap opera. This story line should be written off by next week-asap–have Izzy wake up from a bad dream; get sent to rehab; find a tumor in her brain; just get rid of Denny’s ghost. It is not sweet or happy or feel good or possible or reasonable or doing justice—- to any GOOD story line. And yes I did love Denny. So give him a new role in a new program, like Allison was sent to Private Practice. Actually, the intern storyline is past believing also–If things don’t change very soon–this Grey’s program will have lost my whole family–we really are very disappointed with the writers.

I’m TOTALLY confused on this one!!! I am really disappointed in the fact that they have allowed Denny to come back!! I liked the story with them in the beginning and now just when everything started looking up for her he shows up…….I could understand seeing him here and there but sleeping with a ghost????? UGH….I wish he’d go away!

I think I got it figured, why Izzy is seeing dead people. I think it is just her conscience that is making her do this. Cause she and Dr Burk took the heart that was supposed to go to Erica’s guy. They stole his heart, so now Izzy is seeing Denny every where. I bet if the guy that was supposed to get the heart gets one. Then Denny will go into the light. Just a thought.

I love Denny and Izzie as a couple. But Denny is dead, and as hard as that was for Izzie to accept, she had moved on with her life, which is both healthy and normal. Bringing Denny back is very painful for Izzie, because she can’t really BE with him because he’s just a ghost. I hate that Denny died, really, truly, I do, but he did, and so technically he can’t just come back and be with Izzie as a phantom-boyfriend.
