Biggest Loser: Families ended Tuesday with Michelle Aguilar taking home the $250,000 prize after losing 110 lbs., but the next season of Biggest Loser: Couples is just around the corner (airing Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. ET, on NBC). And it promises to be one of the most dramatic seasons yet, with 11 couples weighing in at more than 3.5 tons, according to a press release from NBC. Season 7 will also feature the oldest players ever (grandparents from Illinois) the youngest contestant (an 18-year-old student from Michigan), the heaviest female contestant (379 lbs.) and the heaviest contestant in the history of the show (454 lbs.).

Best Friends:
Carla Triplett is a 36-year-old assistant bank manager and her best friend Joelle Gwynn, 41, founded a non-profit. They’re from Southfield, Mich.
Daniel Wright is a 19-year-old student from Willow Spring, N.C., and his best friend, David Lee, 23, is also a student from Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
Cousins:
Sione Fa, 28, owns a landscape company in Maricopa, Ariz., and his cousin, Filipe Fa, 26, is a lube technician in Mesa, Ariz.
College counselor Blaine Cotter is 27 and lives in Gilbert, Ariz., and his cousin Dane Patterson, 27, is a real estate appraiser in Mesa, Ariz.
Engaged Couple:
Damien Gurganious, 31, is an Industrial designer and is engaged to Nicole Brewer, a 37-year-old wardrobe stylist in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Former Models:
Tara Costa, 23, is a finance manager in New York City and her friend Laura Denoux, a 24-year-old sales director, lives in Miamo, Fla.
Father and Son:
Ron Morelli, 54, is a retired food distributor and a currently city councilman in South Lyon, Mich., and his son, Mike Morelli, a student, is 18.
Grandparents:
Estella Hayes, 63, is a retired nurse and her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Hayes, 63, is a retired engineer. They live in Wheaton, Ill.
Mother and Daughter:
Helen Phillips, 47, is a retired retail manager from Sterling Heights, Mich, and her daughter, Shanon Thomas, 29, is a massage therapist in Centerline, Mich.
Cathy Skell, 48, is a title sales closing agent at real estate firm in Shiocton, Wis., and her daughter, Kristin Steede, 28, owns a business in Greenville, Wis.
Sisters:
Amanda Kramer is a 30-year-old cosmetologist in Boise, Idaho, and her sister, Aubrey Cheney, 28, is an information and education specialist in Gooding, Idaho.
