The Serenader strikes again!
In our second exclusive sneak peek of The City (premiering on MTV Dec. 29 at 10 p.m. ET), Whitney Port and her new guy Jay Leon (dubbed “The Serenader” in an episode of The Hills because, yes, he sings) go on a romantic date where he lays on the charm thick, tousled hair, Aussie accent and all. After clinking glasses to her her first day at work, Whitney asks, “Are you going to show me around?”
“I’m going to show you around,” responds Jay.
“Be my tour guide,” says Whitney.
“I’m going to be your personal Australian tour guide,” he says.
“Oh, I like it!” smiles Whitney.
And in the weirdest transition (maybe this is how the Aussie’s do it), Jay goes from talking about New York being the greatest city in the world to asking, “Can I sing for you tonight, Whitney?”
Whitney gets all high-school giddy and says, “Yeah, that’s so cute! Yes!”
We’re guessing, he’ll be serenading her in a private show.
