Awkward!
So, Whitney is thrown a welcome to New York City dinner party by her DVF colleague and socialite Olivia Palermo, who may or may not be a possible rival on the show.
But things get weirdly uncomfortable — fast! — when Olivia asks to hear more about Aussie Jay. (Watch the clip.)
“I want to hear more about Jay,” says Olivia, “Are you guys at, like, that phase where you miss each other, like, when you’re not together?”
“I mean, I am, I don’t know if he is,” responds Whitney.
Cue shoulder shrug and eye roll. Hmmm, Alex is looking pretty good right now, no?
The City premieres Dec. 29 at 10 p.m. (ET) on MTV.
