The grades are in, prom is over and a new chapter is about to start for our favorite Upper East Siders — but not before Gossip Girl handed out her superlatives.

Leave it to Serena to become even more famous after her arrest. Even though S had officially made the jump from Page Six to the cover of the New York Post, Gossip Girl still deemed her “officially irrelevant.” And though Serena couldn’t wait to say goodbye to high school, being irrelevant wasn’t something this blond could handle.

In her quest to expose Gossip Girl, the vicious blogger unearthed all the year’s hidden dirt including Dan’s closet romp with the teacher, Blair and Uncle Bass’s rockin’ New Year’s Eve, Chuck’s detour to Brooklyn and even Little J’s topless photo shoot. Thanks, S. But like all good frenemies, the crew made up and S packed for a summer abroad — to look for her father.

The reigning Queen B was ready to put high school behind her. She dropped the mean girls and her high school boyfriend and had her sights set on her future — with Chuck. And just as he was finally going to say the L-word, Gossip Girl unleashed her claws.

Though Blair wasn’t bothered by his time in Brooklyn (with Vanessa), Chuck was livid about her slip with his uncle. Of course Chuck used this as another excuse and bolted out of New York as quickly as possible. Blair finally gave up and was destined to move on — though she admitted to following the Chuck sightings on Gossip Girl’s blog — when Chuck came back. Turns out he couldn’t escape Blair no matter how far he ran. And finally, Chuck said it: “I love you, too.”

Before Blair officially moved on, she had to pass the headband to the next queen. And though they have had their differences, Jenny was next in line to rule the school. Blair happily passed the torch, but not before reminding J, “You can’t make people like you, but you can make them fear you.” Looks like Little J’s rebellious side is about to make a comeback.

Dan won’t be heading to Yale next year, but will be joining Vanessa and Blair at NYU downtown. The Brooklyn kids and former queen won’t be the only two Upper East Siders stirring up trouble downtown. Georgina is back for good and come housing assignments, she’ll be rooming with her very best friend Blair. Another addition: Dan’s half-brother! All the way from Boston, Lily and Rufus’s love child was on a mission to reconnect with his real parents. Speaking of, these two are finally going to be saying “I do.”
