Katie Holmes is a good looking woman trying very hard to be a BIG Star in shoe biz and Hollywood. She has very limited talent as an actress and is no dancer or singer. I t quite frankly was an insult to all the really hard working ,trained and talented people out there who never quite get their big break! She’s just keeping her personna and career alive by doing these things. Negative publicity seems to be the thing that keeps the elite showbiz and movie untalents going and generating more fame and money. She looks good that’s it. I feel we wouldn’t even care if she wasn’t married to Mr. Cruise and had an adorable child with him. It’s like all the other garbage they chose to put out there to gain fame and keep their careers alive. Don’t insult those people who are dancing for their life on the show! They are the real talent!! They are what we want to see and applaude. They, not the choreographers are the ones shining out there on that stage. They are beyond gifted each and every finalist(top 10). They bring the choreographers vision to life, without them it would be nothing! In final it was nice for Ms Holmes to do a benefit for a cause to help other possibly gifted and talented people to reach for their dreams, that’s the blessing she’s been given and should share. She would never win an Academy Award for her dancing or singing and it is not the best tribute to a real Star like Judy Garland. By the way Judy Garland was not in “Singing In The Rain” That was Debbie Reynolds. (Opening set) starting the song which was Garland.

C’mon!!!Katy is gorgeous with a capital G, a beautiful person and delightful to watch in this little clip. I can not think of anyone who could have danced and sang that number any better than she did and guess what? Tom has NOTHING to do with her gorgeaous face, her terrfic choreography or the fact that she is a genuinely sweet person. Get over it … she is FABULOUS in many ways!!!!!

If Tom was so nice to marry young ambitious Hollywood actresses just for one week each, commentators would run out of ink and Oscar factory would run out of statues. (Suddenly all Mrs. Cruises would become so darn talented).
Cathy is OK, nice, clean, no trouble, no scandals, just a plain common sense midwest girl. However she does not “stand out” with anything special (maybe just hard work or sacrifice of living with Tom – give credit where due). Never noticed her before her “cruise” phase.
It’s not easy, talent or not, to equal Judy Garland, Sophia Loren, Bette Davis..one has to “have it or not”..not sure Ms. Cathy has it.

What a joke – Oscar performance?!? If she had an Oscar this performance is a good argument to revoke it!

I like KH but she is not a good dancer and she really really did the show a great in justice. This is a show that displays great talent and she is not even close to their league!

And she couldn’t even show up to do it live – very insulting! As well as the promotion that the producer did about her being on the show.

SYTYCD – we love you but we are not stupid and we don’t like medicore dancing choosen based on celebrity status.

GIVE US GREAT DANCING OR GET OFF THE STAGE!!
