They’re back! In a new clip from Sunday’s episode of True Blood, Sookie (Anna Paquin) and her vampire beau Bill (Stephen Moyer) are back in Bon Temps, La., after their adventure in Dallas. And while they may be far from the fanatical Fellowship of the Sun church, Maryann (Michelle Forbes) has been cooking up trouble back home.
“Has anyone been attacked by something with claws,” Sookie asks Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and her boyfriend Hoyt (Jim Parrack), whose mom seems to be under Maryann’s spell.
When he tells Bill, Sookie and her brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) that Daphne (Ashley Jones) had scars on her back and was found dead with her heart cut out, Jason sets out to Merlotte’s to “find out what they hell is happening on my turf.”
Despite Bill’s warning not to go anywhere near the creature that committed the crime, Jason is determined. “Mr. Compton, I ain’t about to sit back and let monsters destroy my town,” he says.
Sookie responds: “Jason, this would be one of those times to use your head.”
“Oh, I am,” her brother says. “This here is the war I’ve been training for.”
