I love Ellen but she has less (if any) musical experience and knowledge then Paula.. even though Paula says some dumb things she at least has been in the business.

LOVE Ellen as new judge! Have been an Idol fan from season 1 and am so happy to have a great character like Ellen participate. My vote is go back to 3 judges, too….ditch Kara!

I don’t think Ellen is even necessary on that show. What does she know about the music industry or music period? She’s a freaking comedian. Stick to comedy. People don’t want to see your face everywhere. Yeah, Paula was kinda flaky but at least she knows music and has actually sung. I will not be watching.

I love Ellen and love her own show, but really! Is American Idol on drugs??? I don’t know if I can take this show seriously anymore. Bring Paula back. What a slap in the face for all potential contestants who want to be taken seriously and their panel is one musician short who has a joke for them.

Really? This is the final decision??? It is not April 1st!
