It is not going to be the same without paula. I think it is going to be stupid actually they picked one of the stupidest people that they could and can’t even amount to what paula did on American Idol. Why didn’t you guys just give paula the raise and everyone would be happy.

i hope they only signed kara to a one yr contract, because one more year is still too much. if they had just let her go, they would have had enough money to pay paula.

I have been watching AI for 6 of the past 8 years. I love Paula and will miss her, but she made the decision not to re-sign. I like Ellen and am willing to give her a chance, after all its not about the judges, its about the up adn comming stars, the contestants.Good luck Ellen, be honest and have fun.

I can’t imagine Idol without Paula. Idol is a talent show so what qualifies Ellen to be a judge? The show is no longer a serious talent show anymore.

This show is over for me since Paula left. Nothing against Ellen, but the whole show is a huge joke now. I also won’t support a show that treated Paula like yesterday’s garbage after the 8 years she gave them. As for Kara, she is the most insincere person on the planet. I couldn’t stand her last year and thought she ruined the show. This year I’m not even going to bother with it.

Give it up people! Paula was nice but she was so annoying on AI. The show will be much better with Ellen. Sue she was nice, but she seemed either on drugs or drunk (or both) all the time. THANK GOD SHE IS GONE!!!
