Kristin just can’t catch a break on The Hills. When she’s not the target of ex-girlfriend rage, she’s going home alone after the guy she thought she’d poached returns to his former flame. Of course, Heidi is living proof that getting a guy to put a ring on it doesn’t solve everything either. –Carrie Bell
Worst Plan Ever: Heidi returned to the therapist alone to discuss Spencer’s disinterest in children. The counselor reminded her that’s why it’s important to discuss big issues before marriage. As it’s too late for that, Heidi devised a plan to stop taking the pill and surprise him with an unplanned pregnancy. The wise doc advised her that he may feel more tricked than excited. Audrina had a similar reaction of dread and headshaking, but Heidi insisted a wannabe mom knows best. “Spencer doesn’t know how much he wants a family,” she said. “We need a family so I’ll make the call. I always get what I want.”
The Guys’ Take: While shooting pool with his boys, Brody realized Kristin had their vote. Taylor and Frankie told him he becomes a “different, mean, sad” person around Jayde and he’s less fun to hang with.
Dates with Drama: Jayde asked Kristin to meet up and accused her of stealing boyfriends and told her to go back to where she came from. KC called her names and stormed out. Audrina and Heidi also met up to discuss Aud’s last interaction with Justin. “Nothing changed,” she said. “It cannot work out ever.” Jayde asked Brody to meet to tell him what went down with Kristin, but they ended up in another fight. “Why don’t you shut up and listen for once in your life? I’m trying to fix things and you’re just talking back,” she snapped. “We should get back together even though you’ve been a jerk.”
Thanks For Playing: The next step in their reunion was Brody telling Kristin he chose Jayde. She put on her best brave face but when he didn’t believe her enthusiasm, she got brutally honest. “I don’t think you’re happy with her,” she told him. “I don’t think it’ll work out. I don’t think the fighting is worth it. You could be with a way better girl.”
Trick or Treat: Heidi put her plan into action when Spencer found her waiting in something sexy and with candles, wine and a home-cooked meal. After grace (in which she thanked God for her outfit), he became suspicious. Eventually he assumed it was her way of forgiving the vasectomy incident and fell for her line about starting fresh without baby pressure. You’d think a manipulator like Spencer would catch on — especially after she offered herself as dessert.
Cry Bobby: Kristin played Stacie a voicemail from Justin, in which he reiterated that he ended everything with Aud and hoped to talk soon. Unable to decide her next move with him and “sick of this town and all the boys in it,” she suggested a Vegas trip effective immediately.
Tell us: Would you have met with Jayde? Did Brody make the right decision to get back with her? Thoughts on Heidi’s baby blindside?
