I liked Nicole from the start. Laura is equally beautiful and she has a better runway walk but Nicole is more modelesque. Congratulations, Nicole!

Laura’s runway was definitely stronger than Nicole’s..hers was just.. kinda weird!
But Nicole’s definitely has a better performance overall and the look too.
I’ve never been happy about any of the recent past winners until now

No the right girl did not win, Laura should have won. Nicole was talking about all she had to overcome to win but what she had to overcome was nothing comapared to what Laura had to overcome. Laura’s pictures were beautiful and Nicole’s were pretty but they were biased against Laura from early on, Tyrpa was always praising Nicole so she wanted her to win really early in the season.

I don’t hate Nicole, but I really think Laura performed much better in the CoverGirl Shoot and on the runway. I think Laura should have won.

Also, can I just say that Nicole is taller than Cycle 3 winner Eva? So much for the first “petite” America’s Next Top Model.

Really! Laura soooo outweighed Nicole. Much stronger runway walk, ability to do just as good photos as Nicole, and definitely did the spokesmodel commercial in LESS cuts than Nicole. Her personality will make her a favorite amongst the model industry,not only with clients — but photograhers LOVE to work with her! How in the world Nicole won is beyond me! Laura beat her in every category and proved she can be high fashion too.

I do think the right person won! I agree that Laura had a better runway presence but over all I think Nicole had the edge. Laura does take BEAUTIFUL pictures, but in person she is not as memorable as Nicole. They both had alot to over and each was deserving of the title. But Nicole was always my favorite from day one.

Nicole killed it in the photo shoots all season long so she definitely deserved to win. Laura just doesn’t look like a model and I think she’ll have trouble booking jobs.

Yeah, Laura was better on the runway (though neither were good) but petite model would never do runway anyways, so… moot point. I didn’t even think they should have done the runway at all.

Nicole has been one of my favorites since the beginning and Nicole is a breath of fresh air as a winner after super-boring Teyona and McKey. I like the quirky girls like Nicole and Allison from last season.

I knew Nicole was going to win from the very first show, and the next 11 shows did nothing to change that fact. Why? Because Tyra and the judges just kept praising every little thing that Nicole did. “She’s aakward, but it works.” “She speaks in monotone, but it works!” Seriously, if anyone thought that anyone other than Nicole was going to win, they obviously haen’t been watching all the episodes this season.

Nicole IS a great model, but I loved Laura. I loved her personality. I loved the way she stayed true to LAURA, I even loved the way she continued to wear the clothes that her grandma made her. She was a down to earth girl who was beautiful and you could tell she really wanted it. I’m sad she didn’t win, but I do think Tyra and the judges picked the best for the top two.
