Sean, the long-lost son of Harry Wilson (Rob Estes) and Naomi’s mother started off his stint in 90210 by causing some trouble. Dixon (Tristan Wilds) — who until now was Harry’s No. 1 son — started acting out. Tired of his dad giving attention to Sean, he decided to throw elbows on the lacrosse field. Harry took him out of the game, which led to a father-and-son moment between them.
Side note: Rob Estes is becoming the hottest guy on the show. His earnest speeches are intoxicating.
Dixon quickly matured and extended an olive branch to Sean, his new brother with a Southern drawl, who is moving in with the Wilsons. But there’s trouble on the horizon. In the final scene, he made a call to an unknown person and said it was all good — except he spoke with no accent and sounded quite sinister.
Quick question: Is he working with Naomi’s mom? (more…)
90210 opened with a bang: walking the halls of West Beverly, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) spied her ex Ethan (Dustin Milligan) making out with new girl Annie (Shenae Grimes). Stunned, she made her way to English class, where she thought everyone already knew about the secret couple. But it turns out they were talking about Mr. Matthews (Ryan Eggold), who is taking a “leave of absence” for hooking up with a student (who is really an undercover cop, trying to bust a drug dealer).
Kelly’s back! After a visiting Dylan, Kelly (Jennie Garth) can report he had “the same cheekbones, the same sideburns and the same commitment issues,” so Kelly quickly refocused her attention on the latest drama, questioning Mr. Matthews and “student” Kimberly in an attempt to get to the bottom of their inappropriate relationship.
Naomi wasted no time plotting to spoil Annie’s upcoming sweet 16, playing dumb and secretly inviting her old boyfriend from Kansas, the hunky Jason, to Beverly Hills as a surprise. At an awkward dinner with the whole gang, Ethan pulled Annie aside and asked her to tell Naomi and Jason that they’re a couple. She squirmed her way out of it for now, but then Jason, who’s staying with her brother Dixon (Tristan Wilds), kissed her while they’re brushing their teeth in the bathroom later that night. (more…)

On Tuesday’s episode of 90210, in between Election Day news interruptions, Principal Wilson (Rob Estes) sat down with his wife, who deserves couture for the amount of understanding she has exhibited, and two kids and came clean, telling them he had another son that he didn’t know about until two months ago. Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) had nothing to say except they were going to be late for school.
While Annie was freaking out, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) took it in stride and pointed out that they were sisters. Hmm, neither of them share a parent, but they share a brother. Does that make them half-siblings? Totally confused. In an effort to make nice, Silver (Jessica Stroup) invited Naomi and Adrianna to her slumber party, which ultimately turned into a full-blown house party. (more…)

Naomi (Annalynne McCord) is having a hell of a month. She even said so herself. Her parents are getting a divorce, she broke up with her boyfriend, her best friend is a coke addict AND she has detention for the rest of the semester. But all is not bad for the drama queen who just so happens to be the front-runner for Homecoming Queen. And it seems she already made a detention buddy. And he is H-O-T! Of course, he speaks Spanish and she speaks it right back (her parents had a lot of foresight hiring that a Honduran nanny). But the mysterious hottie is out of his league. Maybe.

Now that Jason Priestley will return to direct an episode of 90210, he’s looking forward to getting to know the new kids on the block–and reconnecting with some of the original Peach Pit gang.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” Priestley told Ryan Seacrest during a call-in Friday to the talk show host’s KIIS-FM radio show. “It’s going to be a lot of fun to go over there and work with all those guys.”
Priestley went on to say: “I just hope that Jennie’s in the episode that I do, or that Shannen’s there, That’d be fun for me.”
He should know—Garth, who happens to be his neighbor in L.A., tells him she’s “having a really good time over there.”
Priestley, who directed 18 episodes of the original series, will get behind the cameras in January.
While plans don’t include him coming back to reprise the role of heartthrob Brandon Walsh, Priestley says returning to direct the spin-off is a no-brainer: “It kind of fits like a glove, really.”

OMG! The final cliffhanger scene of 90210 was intense. But there’s plenty of drama that led up to it.
The kids of 90210 were not the only ones filled with angst. Principal Harry Wilson (Rob Estes) and Tracy — Naomi’s mother — talked about the son they gave up for adoption 22 years ago. After a brief and talk with his wife Debbie (Lori Loughlin), Harry agreed to send a letter to the agency. But Tracy already hired a private investigator. Inside the principal’s office, Tracy explained that she has been thinking about their long-lost son for years. Harry agreed and when they hugged it out, Tracy went in for a kiss. It could have been the end of the Wilsons, but Harry — being the good guy that he is — went straight to his wife and told her about it. Again, Debbie was unbelievably understanding.
Meanwhile, love started brewing (again) for Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Ethan (Dustin Milligan). Paired up in health class, they were given an electronic baby, which has a computer chip that signals abuse if the baby isn’t held properly, fed or changed. (What happened to good ol’ fashioned egg?) The couple and their baby started family life at the Peach Pit. Ethan’s ex Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) ran into them while on her way to visit Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes). Awkward. But Ethan told Annie that he’s tired of breaking up and getting back together with Naomi and is now looking for someone to be his always and forever. Hmm, wonder who that could be. (more…)

First Brenda Walsh made her much-anticipated return to 90210, now it looks like her TV sib Brandon will be returning to the old zip code as well.
According to EW.com, Jason Priestley, Beverly Hills, 90210’s original heartthrob, will get behind the cameras and direct an episode of the new CW series. Sources tell the magazine that he will helm the 18th episode to air this spring.
EW also reports that Priestley’s onscreen sister and fellow 90210 alum, Shannen Doherty is making a deal to return to the series for two episodes later this season. “She’s coming back,” says a source. “The deal isn’t officially done, but it’s happening.” Meanwhile the show’s executive producer, Gabe Sachs, would only reveal that Doherty is “in talks.”
Could Priestley direct any of the episodes that will feature Doherty? Executive producer Sachs says: “I think it would be a kick for Jason to work with any of his (former 90210 costars.) But we don’t know whether that will happen yet.” – David Chiu

It was another typical day at West Beverly High on Tuesday’s episode of 90210. There were drugs, devious plotting and a mention of Dylan — and all before the opening credits!
English teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold) was spurned again by Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) when Dylan called moments after Ryan asked Kelly for a date. He told her he was willing to wait for her, but Kelly told him not to. In a subtle dig, Ryan asked Kelly why Dylan called Brenda (Shannen Doherty) instead of her. Good question, Ryan.
It was the night of the annual Pacific Coast Fashion Show, and where there’s fashion, there’s drama. After spending an evening with her father and his mistress, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) was determined to get her parents back together. She just had to get them in the same room and they would realize how much they love each other. After countless texts to her dad, he finally showed up but yelled at Naomi after discovering her scheme. Just when the night couldn’t get any worse, Naomi and Ethan (Dustin Milligan) broke up while sitting in his car.
Ryan and Brenda chaperoned the show. But this is Beverly Hills, so they carried drinks in their hands. At the bar, Brenda told Ryan that he dodged an “epic bullet” by not getting involved with Kelly. At the end of the night, Ryan offered Brenda a ride to wherever she was going. It looked like Kelly was right when she accused Brenda of returning to her old ways. (more…)

It was a real pressure cooker at West Bev High as it got closer to opening night of the school’s musical, Spring Awakening. Annie (Shenae Grimes), who practiced with the chorus, was also understudy to lead actress Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes), who is so good that she has performed in real commercials and stuff. But leave it to Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty) to convince Adrianna to take the school play just as seriously as her Hollywood auditions.
As opening night approached, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) was continuing with her own drama at home. Her mother finally got a clue and decided to leave her husband, who was carrying on a two-year affair with a woman who moved into their beach house. Naomi was convinced her parents were going to get back together, especially since they slept together before dinner. But when her father couldn’t decide between his marriage and his mistress, Naomi’s mom made it for him. She told Naomi she needed to respect herself and more importantly, she needed Naomi to respect her. Thank you, writers for bringing afterschool specials back.
