As the glee club bake sale cooked up tension in the Finn-Quinn-Puck triangle, young love blossomed between Artie and Tina. But when Tina admitted to Artie she’d been faking her stutter after they shared their first kiss, Artie rejected her, disappointed they no longer have something important in common. Meanwhile Rachel and Kurt gear-up for a “Diva Off” to determine who will sing the solo in “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked. And boy can Kurt hit those high-notes!

But Glee’s choreographers were the stars of Wednesday’s episode. Artie’s rendition of Billy Idol’s “Dancing With Myself” — his first solo number — really blew us away. If you’ve been waiting for a chance to hear his pipes fully featured, you were not disappointed. And when the entire glee club performed “Proud Mary” while seated in wheelchairs, they proved once again that what sets this group apart isn’t their ability to keep their choreography in sync, but rather their hearts. –Jessica Wedemeyer
