Daisy De La Hoya may have had her heart broken in the season finale of Rock of Love 2, when Poison frontman Bret Michaels picked Ambre Lake, but the tattooed former stripper may have the last laugh.

While Bret and Ambre have called it quits, blaming their busy schedules, Daisy is getting back in the game on a new VH1 show called Daisy of Love, premiering spring 2009.

She is “determined to find her one man who will rock her world,” a press release from VH1 reads. “Daisy is on a quest for true love and this time she is giving her fans the chance to vie for her love and vote to help determine which contestant makes the cut.”

Men willing to vie for Daisy’s heart can log onto daisyoflovecasting.com to upload their profiles and vote for potential contestants.

The profile with the most votes (330 currently) belongs to m1kee26, who says he’s 18 and from Staten Island, N.Y.

“I love to go out and have a great time,” he writes. “I am a fan of all the vh1 reality shows. My favorite so far was I love Money. I enjoy playing basketball, baseball and bowling. I am a liberal arts major and planning on become a Physical Therapist later on.”

Nate, also 18, from State College, Penn., is in a distant second place with 120 votes and writes: “I would love to go on this show and meet Daisy, since I know we’ve both been through a lot. I haven’t had much luck with love in my life, so going on this show and meeting a beautiful woman may be just what I need.”

Poison frontman Bret Michaels will be looking for Miss Right again when VH1’s Rock of Love Bus starts shooting next month, but future contestants be warned: he’s still not over season 2 winner Ambre Lake.

“I still love her,” Michaels told PEOPLE on his luxury tour bus Tuesday night moments before stepping onstage at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. “I’m not really over her yet. We still hang. She was just out with me a couple days ago and we were having a great time. She’s really got it. I think she’s great.”

Season 1 winner Jessica Rickleff dumped the rocker soon after the show ended. In April, Michaels thought he had found love again in 37-year-old Lake. But in July, PEOPLE reported that they broke up because of their conflicting work schedules.

“The reason for destruction of all my relationships is that I’m passionate about being on the road and making music,” he says. “I have great relationships. But the women I date don’t realize that I spend between 6 and 8 months of my life on the road — touring or traveling or seeing family with my daughters.” (more…)

Poison frontman Bret Michaels and actress Ambre Lake made it official today: Their tour together ends here.

“It’s really sad,” says Lake, who explained that conflicting schedules ultimately worked against the couple. “Bret and I truly love each other and support each other. But with him touring so much and me trying to travel and work, we just didn’t have a lot of time to dedicate to our relationship. It was mutual. We’re both bummed.”

In a release from VH1, a rep for the rock star confirmed: “[Bret] and Ambre Lake really tried to make it work and although they still remain close friends, between his tour line-up and her work schedule there’s no time for a relationship.”

Lake adds, “It’s a lot of pressure. We were dating and taking it day by day. We never put a label on us saying, ‘We are boyfriend-girlfriend.’ But when a budding romance is happening like that and you don’t have a lot of time to see each other, you’re being pulled in so many directions.”

The last time we saw Ambre Lake, she was in considerably better shape. She had just won Bret Michael’s heart on Rock of Love 2, and the twosome were happily dating and making a romance work in the real world. But now, Ambre’s bruised, bloodied and terrified, running for her life after being kidnapped by ghoulish, Harlequin-masked men. It’s all a part of Project: Slasher, the new interactive movie where you decide her fate. It’s like a spooky, Internet version of the Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 1980s. Should Ambre — a.k.a., Janelle — flee into the woods, or seek refuge in the barn? Should she defend herself with a knife — or a chainsaw? Like the film’s Web site says, “She Lives. She Dies. You Choose.”

After Bret Michaels picked Ambre Lake as his Rock of Love, the 37-year-old Chicago native is happy to report that they’ve been dating since they finished taping in December.

“We’re seeing how things progress and being realistic because it’s different dating inside the house than it is in the real world, of course,” says Lake, who, unlike Michaels’ season one choice, Jessica Rickleff, did not dump the Poison frontman after winning. “And we talk more about that on the reunion show on Sunday.”

And despite rumors that Michaels sports a wig under all the hats and bandannas he wears, Lake says, “I can definitely confirm that he does not wear a wig. His hair is gorgeous! But I would love him if he was bald. He’s beautiful on the inside as well as the outside, and you can’t change beauty like that — hair or no hair.”

As for Daisy, Lake’s competition in the ROL finale who made comments about her age, the winner isn’t holding a grudge. “Daisy and I talked after the reunion show,” she says. “We really talked because she was hurt and I was hurt. We acknowledged that it’s a hard situation to go through together.”

Lake, who stars in Project Slasher, an interactive short film — like a Choose Your Own Adventure for horror movie fans — which premieres on April 30, shared her tips on dating a rock star with PEOPLE. (more…)

The tour had to end for one lady Sunday night on the season finale of Rock of Love 2, and after a whirlwind vacation to Cancun, Mexico, Poison frontman Bret Michaels chose 37-year-old Ambre as the season 2 winner.

As for Daisy, who spent most of their romantic fishing date dealing with extreme seasickness (does anything scream romance more than vomiting over the edge of a boat?), she left the show in tears — as Brett and Ambre headed off for an evening of “hot monkey love.” ¡Que romántico!

There were motorcycles! There were kisses! There were sleepovers! There were tears (mostly from Kristy Jo)! This week’s Rock of Love had more drama than the last Lauren Conrad-Heidi Montag encounter. Bret asked the ladies to successfully put together a bicycle — a task Inna’s team won, giving Inna the chance to ride off into the sunset with Bret Michaels on a solo date. But it was Daisy who got the real quality time with the Poison frontman, spending the night with him in his suite — which, of course, angered the girls in the house. But Bret took it all stride, summing up all the conflict and drama with his classic Bretisms, which brings us to our ROL Guessing Game:
