The Hills: Kristin & Audrina’s Catfight (Round 2)

November 4, 2009

The bitch is back … again! After a few weeks of a kinder, gentler Kristin, she fought with Audrina (round 2) at Heidi’s birthday, broke up with Justin Bobby and started to make her move on Brody. While Monday’s episode of The Hills failed to provide Holly drunk dance No. 3, it was certainly action-packed. –Carrie Bell

Buying Time: Heidi asked Spencer to throw her a birthday party and being Spencer, he balked at first but eventually gave in — and two precious lap dogs, which he explained were “the only babies [he's] ever going to provide.” For now, her biological clock appeared to be on snooze as she gushed that they might be the only babies she’d need.

Ex Factor: While on a break with Jayde, Brody strolled the Malibu sands with a scantily clad Kristin and the two traded flirty quips and agreed to go together to Heidi’s party. There, he later told Audrina that they were hanging out a little. “I know she’s not the relationship type,” Audrina told him. “She will try to get you back to hurt Jayde and then move on to someone else.” (more…)

SNEAK PEEK: Kristin Confronts Justin Bobby on The Hills

November 3, 2009

Kristin Cavallari wants answers! In an exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of The Hills, she confronts Justin Bobby about his relationship with his ex Audrina Patridge. The conversation comes in the wake of Audrina’s meeting with JB, during which he told her he “would never be able to say ever in my life anything was better than Audrina.”

“What’s going on with you and Audrina now?” Cavallari asks.

He admits that the meeting took place but says, “I’m tired of that cycle. I feel like I’ve been through it. I don’t need that in my life. I want smooth sailing and I want to be able to trust people.”

Then he starts with baseball references, telling her she has a batting average filled with strikes.

“That’s just a low blow,” she says. “I’ve tried very hard to go off of what I know from you but when I see a pattern, I move on.”

The Hills airs tonight on MTV (10 p.m. EST), followed by The City (10:30 p.m. EST).

The Hills: Will Kristin & Brody Get Back Together?

October 28, 2009

Jayde vs. Brody. Justin Bobby vs. Kristin. JB vs. BJ. Steph and Heidi vs. Holly. Holly vs. her self-respect. While there were still a few Hill-arious moments like Stacie’s under-cleavage and drunk dance-off part deux, Tuesday’s episode of The Hills focused on catfights, angry lovers, head games, interventions and the possibility of a Kristin-Brody reunion. –Carrie Bell

Party Pooper: Kristin decided to throw an end-of-summer party at her beach house and Brody was on the guest list, which Jayde did not appreciate. “Going to her house isn’t something I really want to do. Every time we’re around her, we get into a fight,” she said. Brody declared he was going despite her boycott. Jayde showed to check up on him and brought the drama. She pushed away from his hug and talked trash on him in the kitchen. “It’s not fair that he can get drunk, do whatever he wants, talk to who ever and be so rude to me,” she said. “He doesn’t care about me.” Brody overheard called her delusional, rude and frustrating. He eventually stormed out, claiming, “I’m done. It’s over.” (more…)

The Hills: Ready to Relapse & Coming Clean

October 21, 2009

The bitch was on a break on Tuesday’s episode of The Hills, which left room for romance as well as some serious — and seriously funny — scenes. –Carrie Bell

Return of the Mat: Audrina told Stephanie that Justin Bobby was texting her despite dating Kristin. Steph called her a “pushover” and didn’t believe her declaration of independence even after she heard about Aud’s date with Derek. That dinner went well until JB came up in the conversation, which must have got her thinking because later she asked JB to meet her. She admitted it was hard to see him with KC and agreed not to see Derek after he chastised her for dating a friend. He also said it felt weird “putting someone else on the back of my motorcycle” and that he “would never be able to say ever in my life anything was better than Audrina.” (more…)

SNEAK PEEK: Stephanie Pratt Worries About Holly Montag’s Drinking on The Hills

October 20, 2009

Talk about bad timing! Just days after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Hollywood, Stephanie Pratt will appear on The Hills, confronting Heidi Montag about her sister Holly’s “out of control” drinking.

“She just had too much to drink,” Heidi says, defending her sister in a scene from tonight’s episode.

“That was not ‘I’m having fun, I’m letting loose, I’m at this great event.’ That was like some other problems going on in her life where she needed to get so drunk that she would black out.”

Heidi, who’s been house hunting with Spencer, hasn’t witnessed her sister Holly drinking too much.

But Stephanie says, “Every time we go out, someone asks her to leave … she really needs help, Heidi.”

The Hills airs Tuesdays on MTV (10 p.m. EST).

The Hills’ Five Cattiest Moments

October 14, 2009

These moments gave fans something to purr about during last night’s episode of The Hills, which featured several déjà vu situations, Audrina moving on, a raucous surprise birthday party for Brody and a weekly fix of cuteness courtesy of Enzo, the obvious attempt by producers to ruin Spencer’s sex life. — Carrie Bell

WHIP IT: Kristin and Stacie shopped the Hustler store for Brody’s gift. On the surface, a nice gesture, but the whip and collar (which by Hollywood rules had to match) were a jab at his p-whipped status. KC also blabbed that her sexual exploits with Brody were “vanilla” with a side of eye roll. Stacie suggested she get chaps because “bad boys like the dominatrix stuff” and KC timidly admitted her feelings for resident bad boy, Justin-Bobby. After he used her for her beachfront rental to get his surf on (Where was that Great White that’s been recently taunting Malibu when you need him?), insinuated she was drinking too early, picked his nose and inspected it and made fun of her plan to add two star tattoos to her foot, she asked him to be her date to Brody’s and he accepted. For the record, Jayde did not seem to appreciate the gift or the thought behind it but her beau immediately made plans to “get freaky” later that day to alleviate the boredom that comes from “getting deep in [the] relationship.”

SNEAK PEEK: Brody Calls Jayde a B—- on The Hills

October 13, 2009

Kristin has already made an enemy of Audrina — is she now going to come between Brody and Jayde? In an exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of The Hills, Kristin invites her ex and his current girlfriend to a party at her Malibu house. Brody’s up for it but Jayde suggests they take a break from the party scene.

“Go with the flow,” Brody tells her. “We’re all going.”

When Jayde walks away, Brody asks, “You’re really going to be a b—- like that?”

Well, that does not do the trick and Jayde keeps walking. Brody does the “mature” thing and shouts, “We don’t care! Leave! We don’t care.”

Watch a clip — did you see a smile on Kristin’s face? The Hills airs Tuesday (10 p.m. EST) on MTV.

Tell us: Will Brody and Jayde last to the end of the season? Did Kristin do anything wrong in inviting them or is Jayde just jealous?

The Hills: The 5 Cattiest Moments

October 7, 2009

There are things in life you can count on: death, taxes, and now that Kristin Cavallari is back on the scene, at least five catty moments on an episode of The Hills. –Carrie Bell

1. Pot Meets Kettle: While Kristin and Stacie played the blame game about last week’s altercation, the bartender realized KC is the only person she didn’t get in a fight with upon first meeting, and she was glad because their combined bitchiness would have sent “freakin’ hair flying.” Too bad, really.

2. The Stand Up: KC tried to extend an olive branch to Audrina by requesting a lunch date, so she could explain that she met with Justin Bobby to tell him that they “had to remain friends.” Aud didn’t trust the “maneater” and stood her up. When she didn’t show, KC called Lo and told her story. “I’m the one hurt in this situation. I put myself out here,” Cavallari said. “I should go for Justin.” Lo performed like a good sidekick and reported right back to Aud, getting in a jab while she was at it: “She seemed sincere in wanting to apologize but she comes off with such an attitude that it’s hard to believe.” (more…)

SNEAK PEEK: Spencer & Heidi House Hunt on The Hills

October 6, 2009

Spencer Pratt has already said that he is refusing sex with his wife Heidi Montag, who wants to get pregnant — and in a clip from tonight’s new episode of The Hills, he says he picked a potential new home because it’s not very “kid-proof.” The house, which has plenty of natural light coming in through the windows, is described by Heidi as a “bachelor pad.” When her pal — and Spencer’s sister — Stephanie Pratt calls the married couple “immature,” it sparks a discussion about whether having a baby is a good idea for the newlyweds, who admit they’ve got some growing up to do.

The Hills Returns: 7 Catty Moments

September 30, 2009

In honor of Kristin Cavallari and the “bitch is back”-themed season MTV has planned for The Hills, we’re presenting a list of the premiere episode’s cattiest moments. Enjoy (with a grain of salt)!

Gossip Girls: Lo, Stephanie and Audrina rehashed KC’s greatest snits (like slapping LC at a club), called her names (like man-eater) and examined her bad qualities at Tart. To be fair, Aud said she’d give the new girl “the benefit of the doubt.” Meanwhile, Speidi seemed giddy at the prospect of a little pot-stirring.

Bad Boyfriend? Brody was insensitive to his girlfriend Jayde’s desire to sartorially knock it out of the park when attending a party with his ex. He was also less than forthcoming when she inquired about why they broke up. “We were young. We’ve moved on. You gotta look out for her, but she’s cool,” said the guy with a new subtitle (he’s now “Kristin’s ex” rather than “Lauren’s friend”). (more…)
