Kristin just can’t catch a break on The Hills. When she’s not the target of ex-girlfriend rage, she’s going home alone after the guy she thought she’d poached returns to his former flame. Of course, Heidi is living proof that getting a guy to put a ring on it doesn’t solve everything either. –Carrie Bell

Worst Plan Ever: Heidi returned to the therapist alone to discuss Spencer’s disinterest in children. The counselor reminded her that’s why it’s important to discuss big issues before marriage. As it’s too late for that, Heidi devised a plan to stop taking the pill and surprise him with an unplanned pregnancy. The wise doc advised her that he may feel more tricked than excited. Audrina had a similar reaction of dread and headshaking, but Heidi insisted a wannabe mom knows best. “Spencer doesn’t know how much he wants a family,” she said. “We need a family so I’ll make the call. I always get what I want.”

The Guys’ Take: While shooting pool with his boys, Brody realized Kristin had their vote. Taylor and Frankie told him he becomes a “different, mean, sad” person around Jayde and he’s less fun to hang with. (more…)

The fight continues! After push came to shove between Kristin Cavallari and Jayde Nicole on last week’s episode of The Hills, the two sat down to discuss their conflict, which centers on their common ex-boyfriend, Brody Jenner, who is currently on a break from Jayde and hanging out with Kristin.

“You don’t think that in the entire city of Hollywood you could find other guys other than Justin and Brody?” Jayde asks in an exclusive clip of tonight’s episode.

Kristin immediately takes issue with Jayde’s mention of her dating Justin Bobby, who dated Audrina Patridge in the past. “I was never friends with Audrina,” Kristin says. “So I don’t owe her anything.”

“Hey, I don’t like Audrina either,” Jayde replies.

“So why are you even bringing Justin into this equation?”

“Because it seems like a pattern with you,” Jayde answers. “Everything was totally fine before you came here, so you need to go back to wherever it is that you came from.”

That’s when Kristin lets her have it: “You are such a bitch, Jayde. I have to tell you, like, you’re a bitch.”

The Hills airs tonight (10 p.m. EST) on MTV, followed by The City (10:30 p.m. EST).

Tell us: Whose team are you on? And were things better or worse before Kristin came to The Hills?

While some say that scripted television is dying, irony is, in fact, very much alive. Days before an episode of The Hills aired showing Stephanie Pratt confronting Holly Montag about her excessive drinking, Spencer’s 23-year-old sister was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Hollywood.

Given the personalities involved, and the public forum in which it the arrest took place, it had all the makings of a very real meltdown. But to the younger Pratt’s credit, she’s weathered the storm and come out stronger because of it.

“It was the worst thing to happen to me and, at the same time, it was the biggest blessing,” Pratt told PEOPLE at the Maxim and Ubisoft launch of Assassin’s Creed II in West Hollywood on Wednesday. “I learned to not fall apart, which is something that I usually do when something goes bad in my life. I learned that it is all about temptation and that I am being tested.”

Being tested in Hollywood is an everyday occurrence — as is the subsequent fall from grace — but the plucky blond reality star seems determined to transform her arrest from embarrassment to betterment. (more…)

The Hills has two kinds of girls — those who are boy crazy and those driven crazy by boys. This week’s chapter chronicled the escapades of both types. And between a bar fight, a public dumping and a behind-her-back doctor’s appointment, it wasn’t pretty. –Carrie Bell

Nip/Stuck: Spencer’s puppy plan didn’t work and, after his wife spent time with little Enzo, he and Heidi had another baby brawl. Heidi said now; he wanted 10 years. When he perceived her “what if” comment as a threat, he booked a doctor’s appointment to talk vasectomy. After a quick anatomy lesson and vivid illustrations that made him squirm, he left without getting snipped. This kicked off an even bigger fight as he and Heidi argued about the definition of lying. “You knew I wanted kids when you married me,” Heidi whined. “So sounds like [it] was the biggest mistake you’ve ever made.”

Audrina will not be happy about this!

First Kristin Cavallari dated Patridge’s ex Justin Bobby in what turned into the nasty saga playing out on MTV’s The Hills this season. Now, it’s onto another guy, Tal Cooperman, who Patridge dated last summer.

“It’s brand new. They’re having a lot of fun enjoying getting to know each other better,” says a source of Cavallari’s relationship with the co-owner of the DCMA Collective clothing line. “It’s not for the show. They hit it off and have been hanging out off-camera.”

Cooperman and Cavallari enjoyed a date night Thursday in Los Angeles, where they were spotted partying at an ESPN bash, sharing a sushi dinner at Nobu and kissing at West Hollywood hotspot Voyeur.

“They were making out on one of the club’s VIP stages after midnight,” says a clubgoer. “They were all over each other.”

The duo made sure to keep things under wraps by leaving the club separately but only after sealing their night with a kiss. –Jennifer Garcia and Marisa Laudadio

Oh no she didn’t! Kristin Cavallari and Jayde Nicole’s latest spat gets physical in an exclusive clip of tonight’s episode of The Hills. When Jayde, who is on a break from her relationship with Brody Jenner, runs into him out at a nightclub with pal Kristin, she flips.

“What the f— are you doing?” she asks him.

Brody’s answer: “I’m having drinks with friends.”

“We’re on a break,” Jayde says. “You don’t just date other people.”

That’s when Kristin gets out of her seat and joins their conversation. Then, all hell breaks loose! Push comes to shove and words are exchanged in a chaotic scene.

The bitch is back … again! After a few weeks of a kinder, gentler Kristin, she fought with Audrina (round 2) at Heidi’s birthday, broke up with Justin Bobby and started to make her move on Brody. While Monday’s episode of The Hills failed to provide Holly drunk dance No. 3, it was certainly action-packed. –Carrie Bell

Buying Time: Heidi asked Spencer to throw her a birthday party and being Spencer, he balked at first but eventually gave in — and two precious lap dogs, which he explained were “the only babies [he's] ever going to provide.” For now, her biological clock appeared to be on snooze as she gushed that they might be the only babies she’d need.

Ex Factor: While on a break with Jayde, Brody strolled the Malibu sands with a scantily clad Kristin and the two traded flirty quips and agreed to go together to Heidi’s party. There, he later told Audrina that they were hanging out a little. “I know she’s not the relationship type,” Audrina told him. “She will try to get you back to hurt Jayde and then move on to someone else.” (more…)

Kristin Cavallari wants answers! In an exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of The Hills, she confronts Justin Bobby about his relationship with his ex Audrina Patridge. The conversation comes in the wake of Audrina’s meeting with JB, during which he told her he “would never be able to say ever in my life anything was better than Audrina.”

“What’s going on with you and Audrina now?” Cavallari asks.

He admits that the meeting took place but says, “I’m tired of that cycle. I feel like I’ve been through it. I don’t need that in my life. I want smooth sailing and I want to be able to trust people.”

Then he starts with baseball references, telling her she has a batting average filled with strikes.

“That’s just a low blow,” she says. “I’ve tried very hard to go off of what I know from you but when I see a pattern, I move on.”

While there were still a few Hill-arious moments like Stacie’s under-cleavage and drunk dance-off part deux, Tuesday’s episode of The Hills focused on catfights, angry lovers, head games, interventions and the possibility of a Kristin-Brody reunion. –Carrie Bell

Party Pooper: Kristin decided to throw an end-of-summer party at her beach house and Brody was on the guest list, which Jayde did not appreciate. “Going to her house isn’t something I really want to do. Every time we’re around her, we get into a fight,” she said. Brody declared he was going despite her boycott. Jayde showed to check up on him and brought the drama. She pushed away from his hug and talked trash on him in the kitchen. “It’s not fair that he can get drunk, do whatever he wants, talk to who ever and be so rude to me,” she said. “He doesn’t care about me.” Brody overheard called her delusional, rude and frustrating. He eventually stormed out, claiming, “I’m done. It’s over.” (more…)

Return of the Mat: Audrina told Stephanie that Justin Bobby was texting her despite dating Kristin. Steph called her a “pushover” and didn’t believe her declaration of independence even after she heard about Aud’s date with Derek. That dinner went well until JB came up in the conversation, which must have got her thinking because later she asked JB to meet her. She admitted it was hard to see him with KC and agreed not to see Derek after he chastised her for dating a friend. He also said it felt weird “putting someone else on the back of my motorcycle” and that he “would never be able to say ever in my life anything was better than Audrina.” (more…)
